March 2012. I feel this is my most accomplished piece to date.

It represents a solid block of C873 Silicon Bronze ( 95% copper, 4% Silicone, 1 % Manganese)
As a strike of genius, the artist, yours truly, has implemented an audacious vertical cut which serves as a stable base but also illustrates the transitional quality of the contrast between the organic texture of the raw metal and the mechanical coldness of the vestigial cut.

With regard to the issue of content, the disjunctive perturbation of the facture brings within the realm of discourse the larger carcass.

As a work of meta-art in the age of generative reproduction "Why Bother" creates while the chaos permeates. In the synoptic artifice, art objects are resurrections of the musings of the flux, a flux that uses the chaos as an organism to materialize ideas, patterns, and emotions. With the devolution of the electronic environment, the flux is conceiving a point where it will be free from the chaos to transcend immersions into the contortions of the delphic artifice.

"Why Bother" investigates the nuances of modulations through the use of static motion and close-ups which emphasize the generative nature of metal media. It explores abstract and adequate scenery as motifs to describe the idea of imaginary artifice. Using obsolete loops, vectors, and allegorical images as patterns to create a meditative environment which suggest the expansion of bullshit...
