Such a mold can be use to cast reproduction copies of the original in a variety of material, including wax ready to be send to a foundry.

The tutorial is not intended to be a comprehensive mold making manual but will rather focus on a few small, useful projects that will teach the basics of mold making techniques using a variety of material such as silicon rubber, plaster or alginate.
