Step Five - Releasing
 

I am sliding one or two fingers between the Alginate and Amy's skin to slowly free the mould.

Now ready to gently pull the mould off Amy's body.

Free at last !  only 24 minutes since I started applying the first layer of alginate....

I am setting the mould open side up on a pile of old cloth.... beautiful!!!		 8:42 am

Step Six - Casting the plaster.

I have mixed a large batch of plaster. Amy is back from her shower. It is just over 50 minutes since she arrived at the studio. She now could go home but decided to stay on and watch me pour the plaster in her mould.

Step Seven - Unmoulding

After a few hours, the plaster has set. We are impatient to open the mold.

Amy is admiring her graceful and very personal sculpture....

It must now be left to dry before I can fix any small defect and imperfection...
